This meeting was celled to order at 8' 0 cloek P.~d. , by Trustee J.H. Kelley "President Boar~ ". Roll-sail · Roll eall found the fei]owing Trustees present, to wit: P.A. Cunningham, ~.W. He~$n, Gee. H. Walleee and J.H. Kelley. Absent Trustee M.P. Healy The minutes of the previous meeting were reed ~n~ upon motion of Trustee Wallace seeonded by Trustee Ho]sto~ and re.~ularly carried were approved ~s rwa~. A eommunieatien was received from Governer S~e~e urgeing the neeessit2 of enforcing all laws a~gainst prostitution. The eommunieation was ordered placed on file. ~Communieations were received from the Mayor of Santa Rosa and from the State Board ef~Health eoncern~ the n~eeSsity of sending ~e~resentativea to the ~niei~al Convention at Santa Rosa which will be h~ld Sept. 24th to 29th 1917. Upon motion of Trustee Cunningham seconded by Trustee Wa]laee and regularlyearried that the communi- cation be placed on file and that the City Clerk, City Attorney, City Health 0ffi~er and City Engin~ ~ be authorized to attend the convention and that they be allowed the sum of Twenty-five (25) Dollars each for expenses. Motion Csrried A Communi~ztion was receivea from the C~]ifornia State Automobile Assoeiation calling attention to the b~d eondition of the er~ssing'of Linden Avenue ~ear the Prest-O Zite Co., as complained of by ~W.E. Hymen. ~he City Clerk w~s instrueted to ~gain eommunieate with the Southern P~eifie Company and request · theft the crossing be repaired. The reports'of City officers for the month of August were then read . The report of the Cit~m Clerk showed the following b~lanees.
