by Trustee Holstcn and regularly c~rried were approved as re~d.

An applicztion for a "Class B" ]iqu.'~r license w~s received from Peter Bar~teri to conduc, t a
restaurant & liquor business ~t San Bruno and Armour ~venues,in the Jeppeson building.
U~on advice of the City Attorney the appFication was denied,it being against the the Liquor
Ordinance to grant a cl,.ss "B" license where rooms were rented in connection with said liquor
business.
An application to conduct ~ boxing emhibition on Februar;.? 12,1918, w~s received from Jess
Montze.
Hoved b~ Trustee Wallece seconded by Trustee Cuningham that the permission be granted.

f-n application was received from Bildhauer & C~rlson to conduct a pool and billiard room zt
225 Grand Avenue.
Moved by Trustee Holston seconded b.v Trustee Wallace th&L.t the permit be granted.
Liotion carried
A communication was received from ~.H. Edwards ~sking theft the Butler Road be graded to the
center of the building so ~s to be of service in t~king freight into the building.
The matter w~s refered to the street committee.

FOR CONSTRUCTION 0P SEWERS.
Whereas there is no system of sewers in that part of the City of South S~n Francisco E~.st
of the right of way of the ~outhern Pacific Railroad Company and north of Swift Avenue ;
Whereas there is no sewer system in that part of the City of South San Pranci~
N~rth of Hiller Avenue ~nd west of Naple Avenue: and
Whereas the Board off Trustees of the Citp of South S~,n Francisco is about to
submit to the qualified ei~ctors of said City the question of incurring ~ bonded indebtidnes~
for the p~_~r~ose of constructing the sewers hereinbefore referred
Therefore,resolved by the Bo~rd of Tr~stees of the ~.it:- of' ?outh ~n Fr~ncisc,
that the Citr Xn~ineer be, and he herebr is directed to r. rei'~'re end submit to s~:id Board of
Trustees plans and specifications for the construction of s~id sewers.
