This meeting w~s called to order at 8' the Board" o clock P.M., by Trustee G.W..Holston "President Roll-call Roll call found the following Trustees present,towit; F.AJ Cunningham, A.J. Eschelbach, M.F. Healy, ~nd G.~. Holston. Absent Trustee J.H. Kelley. The ninute of the previous meetiug were read ,znd uron motion of Trustee Healy,seconded ~ Trustee Cu~nin~ham and regularly carried were approved as read. A con~unication was received from the South S~n Francisco W~ter Conp~ny in response to one from the City C~erk asking that a Fire Hydrant be placed at the Prest 0 Lite Plant. The c~munica answered that the reques~ would be eomplied with. The report of the City Recorder showed that the sum of Fifty (~0$~ollars had been collected through his office during the month of July for which he enclosed cheek. Motion carried Ordinance number 99 entitled,"AN ORDINANCE REGULATING PUBLIC DANCES IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, AND PROVIDING A P~ALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF, A£JD REP~LING 0RDIN~NCE 88 OF THE CITV OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE REGULATING DUBLIC DiNCES AND LN~ERTAI~ENTS AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOI~TION,"PASSED AN~ ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN ~RANCISC0 ON THE 14th. Smith City Clerk ORDINANCE $ 100 entitled AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE N0.84 OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO entitled AN ORDINANCE LICENSING A!~D REGULATING THE OPERATION OF AUT0~0BILES FOR HIRE AND THE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION OF PASSENGERS THEREIN ~ITHIN THE CITY 0F SOUTH SLN FR/~N§I~C0", P~S~ED AI~D ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRaNCiSCO , July 6, 19lB AND ADDING A NEW SECTION TO SAID ORDINANCE, was formally intro- duced by Trustee ~unningham,h~d its first reading and w~s laid over to some up under regular order of business ~t the next meeting of the Board.
