Knoth 209 Maple Avenue asking that the Board' have a ditch or drain constructed paralleling the Southern Pacific trac~s so that the surface water wou~d drain off his property'. The City Clerk was instructed to inXorm ~r. The City Clerk ws:s instructed tc notif~f the leag~e of their- intentions to have an election for a bond 'o~' , $20, · ...ue for sewers (~ 000), ~it~, Hall ($80,000), also conten~plating ($75,000) for Street Work under the 1915 Improv~.ent Acto ~ A comnunica'tion was received from. l~he Caiifornia ~tate Board of Health, informing us that they had made.a thorough exsminstion of the ?]ant df. the South San Francisco Water Co'., also reported ha~+ing m,ade tests of the water and. fou~d same without any sign of con- tamination, and recent, ended that the water CoroT, any be gra. nted p~rmission to continue to supply to the City of So~th San Francisco. The communication was placed on file. A communication was received from the }danufacturers Association of South San Francisco asking thatthe Bo~rd of Truste,~sdr~.~w up an ordin~nce closing all pool-rooms~in the City of South San Francisco between the hours of ll o'clock p.m. and 7 a.m. of the following day, also asking that all back rooms and back entrances of pool-rooms be abolished. The communication wss pieced on ~file and the Board.took the matter under advisment. The reports of City Officers for the month of November was received at this meeting. The report of the City ~'Clerk showed the following Balances. The rep~ of the City Recorder was also received,~showing that the sum of Forty[ Seven(,47.00) Dollars had been collected through his office during the month of November for which he enclosed check. Moved by Trustee Kelley seconded by Trustee Cunningham that the reports of all City Officers received at this meeting be accepted snd filed. Moved by Trustee'~Cunningham seconded b:.- Trustee Kelley that Trustee Eschelbach be authorized to secure a requisition and that in future any work, material, or supplies used or purchased by the city shall be vrocurred thru a requisition, signed by the purchasing committee. Motion Carried.
