This meetin~ was called to order at ~:O0 p.m. b;3 Tru.~tee G. W. Holston ~resident of the Board. Roll call found the fol.!owing Trustees present to wit: F. A. Cunningham, A. J. Eschelbach, M. F. Healy, and G. W. HoUston, Absent Trustees J. H. Kelley. The minutes of the previous meeting, were read and upon motion of Trustee HealN seconded by Trustee Eschelbach and re,~ularly carried were approved as read.. The ~o]lowing applications for permits for Class "A" Liquor licenses were received at th~s meeting. S. Gianelli F. Fusco Geo Wallace C. Peter Regli R. G. Burns Haw'es & Tibbetts A. Baradat C. And acco~panyingeach of the ~bove aDplicantions was a bond in the penal sum of One Thous- and ($1000.00) Dollars, as provided by Ordinance #98 of the Cit,~~ of South San Francisco for the faithful co~plia, nce with the~ provisions of said Orainance by the arplicsnts. And the app]icants having complied in all resDe~ts with the provisions of said Ordinance, the~ were granted permits for Class "A" ]iq~or licenses for a term of Six (6) N,~onths ending June ZO, 1919, by the unaminous vote of ail Trustees present to wit: F. A. Cunningham. A. J. Esch- elbach, l.i.F, nealN, and G. W. Holston. An application to set po]~es on Pine Avenue for the purpose of supplying light to ~. Borges was received for the Pacific G~s & Ll~tric Co. Upon mot~on of Trustee Cunn- ingham seconded b;? Trustee Heal,~/ and regularl,~? carried the matter was referred to the Street Con~mittee with power to act. Communications were retell:ed from Pacific ~ar & Equip~.~ent Co, Enterprise Foundary Co, ~nd Sshaw -Batcher Co, relating to the right of way for a sewer system for the £actory district, and show~ng a disrosition to give rights of way for the said system. The com- munications were ordered ~)~aced on £i]e. A coNm~unication was received from i~ir. Wm. Von Puhl of the U.R.R. in answer to one of the Cit~? C.~erk, complaining of flat w~eels on cars of the Compan~~ ope~;~ting in South °an Francisco, answering that the matter would be remeaied at once. Reports of City Officers for the month of December~were then read. ~ The report ~f the City Clerk showed the following Balances. The report of the City Fire Marshall, reoorted one fire during the month of Decomber. Moved by Trustee Cunningham seconded by Trustee Healy and re~larly carried that the reports of all City Officers received at this meeting be acceoted and filed. A permit to conduct a pool-room at 312 Grand Avenue was granted to Giorge Checehi and Cesare Mariani. H. tfage was~ granted a Class "B" Liquor license for the building on 210 Gr~nd Avenue.
