This meeting was called to order at 8 0' clock p.m.. ,by Trustee G.¥:. HolstSn "~resident of the Board". Roll-call Roll c~] found all Trustees present,to-wit: P.A. Cunningham,A.J. Eschelbach, ~.F. Healy, J.L~. Me~ley smd G.W. Holston. Absent Trustees None. The minutes of the previous ngeting were read and upon motion of TrusteeEelley seconded by Truste~ Cunningham sndregularly carried were approved as read. ~.Ir. E.E. Stickle appeared before the Board with s plan for the alteration of the Cunningham & Martin building located on the South west corner of Grand & Millsr Avenue on behalf of Henery Scampinni the tenant of the said building . The plan showed the alterations to be made and after much discussion and upon the opinion of th.? City Attorney that the alterations did not conflict with the fire ordinamce,it w~s moved by Trustee Healy seconded by TrusteeCunningham and regularly c~rried that the permit be granted. A communication was received from Miss M.J. F~auffmann than~ing the Board of Trustees for the eff~b made by them for th~ increase of salaries for the school teachers and a~K~ng the co-operation cf ~he Board in future. The communication was ordered placed on file. The reports of City officers for ti:e month of July were then read the report of the City Clerk showed the following balances. General Fund ~13,707.~8 Library Fund ~I,710.94 Sinking Fund ~Z,558.10 Weed Fund ~!i04.5~ City Hall Fund Cash ~1,965.54 [ecurities 1,998.oo The report of the C~,ty Treosurer checked with tLat of tlc City Clerk. The report oi' the City Recorder showed that the sum of [~eventeen dollars had been collectad through his office during t]~e month of July for whic$ he enclosed check.
