HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes 1921-07-07] I tit VJ Regularly adjournedmeeting of the Board of Trustees of the 8ity of South San Francisco held Monday July, 7th, 1921. at the City Hall. The meeting was called to order by Trustee G.W.Holston, President of the Board, at eight o'clock, p.m. Roll Call. Roll call found the following Trustees present, to-wit;- F.A.Cunningham,L.G.Hardy Jr., H.Scampini, G.W.Holston Absent, Trustees, A.J.Eschelbach. The minutes of the previous meetings were read and upon motion of Trustee Hardy seconded by Trustee Scampini and regularly carried were approved. By approval of the Board ?oundmaster Ringue appointed Stephen Barnum Hoyt a Deputy ?oundmaster. The Pacific Gas and Electric Co replied to the City's letter requesting them to replace six broken lights in the vicinity of Peck's Lots, stating they would give the matter their immediate attention. ~hey~ndle~dft~o~blue print copies for permission to set poles en Commercial Avenue and San Bruno ~venue on account of increasing size of So. San Francisco circuit. Accepted and ~e'~a~ter r~fe~r~ to the Street committee. A petition from nineteen property owners on the alley in block #102 was received, pre- testing against the pa~ing of the alley this year~ As the date for such protests is set for July 18th, the next regular meeting, the matter was l~id over tc be taken up at that time. Monthly reports of the Fire Chief,Marshal,Recorder, Treasurer and Clerk were next read. The re~ort of the City Clerk showed the following balances:-General fund $8027.17,Library fund,S191 Sinking fund for sewers,$~Z04.18, FaCtory District sewer fund~, ~5790.Z9,"1919 Bonds",$9§84.9~, Street bonds, Ser "A",$16.10, Ser ~'B", $15.70, Set "C", $121.~0, Ser "D",$15~.85, Ser "E", $16.86, Ser "F", $441.96, Ser "G", $54~.52. Total balance in all funds $299Z2.37. Moved by Trustee Cunningh seconded by Trustee Hardy that the reports be accepted Carried. Payment of a bill of $ 11.57 from the Gamewell Fire-Alarm Telegraph Co was withheld, and the cl~rk instructed to procure an itemized statement. There being no further business before the Board Trustee Cunningham moved adjournment till the next regular meeting, Monday, July 18th, 1921, at eight o'clock p.~.
