as ~resident Pro Tern, and called the meeting to order s.t eight O'clock ~.m, Hell cell.

seconded by '~'ru~tee ~rdy ~nd regularly c~rriod were ~pproved ~ re~d.
~ communication w~s received from ~rs. s.lorence ~. ~'l~nsg~n stating that ~ claim of
~15.00 due ~r. ~eo ~.~lsn~n for ~ervices rendered the city h~d not been ~id, ~nd ~king the city
to i~sue ~ check in her f~vor for the amount. A~ ~ check for this h~d been i~ued to ~r. ~'l~.n~g~n
~uly l~t, 1918, the clerk v:~ instructed to stop p~'yment of the s~e and i~sue ~ now one in favor of
~lrs. ~'lorence u.~len~g~n.
~ petition was received from Art. volonte asking permission to hold a dance in
~retern~]~ nell ~aturday evening, Y~pril 29th next, the dence to last until 2 9'clock ~..~. permission
granted.
x'rustee }~.o.~schelbsch petitioned the ooard for a permit to build ~n e:~tension to
his theatre, the work to comply in a].l ree~ects with the y~resen% building laws. Permission grented.
'xh reports of the ~.ire ~hief, ~ity ~srshal,uity necorder, uity '~re~surer and ~ity
ulerk for t~e month of lv~arch were next read. The re~ort of the ~it,v ~ecorder sho~-~ed collections in
fines and civil cases of q~295.00, while the ~ity ulerk's report showed the following b~iancee in the
