By reason of the death of Trust~e F.A.Cunningham,President of said ~oard of Trustees, Trusts A.J.Eschelbach was chosen by the unanimous vot~ o£ all trustees present to act as President pro t of said Board of Trustees. Erust~eLEschelbach, acting Cs President pro te~; of the Board announced the board would adjou Out of respect to the memory of our late President ~'.A.Ounningham, a~d accordingly Trustse ~. Minucciani i~troduced the following resolution of sympathy and sorrow;- _ WYER~AS it has pleased Almighty God in his infinite wisdom to remove from our midst Fred A.Cunningham; and WHEREAS Mr. Cun~ingham was for many years a resident of the City of South San Francisco and a man of outstanding ability and e.~em~lary character; and Whereas, during his residence in the City of South San Francisco,he continually exerted himself in the development of this City;and WMEREAS~Lr. Cunningham was for more than seventeen years.a men~ber of the Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco and for more than three yeazs serVed with distinction as President of this Board of Trustees,which~Office he held at the date of his death; and WHEREAS at all times Nr. Cunningham'he~estly,efficiently and courageo,~.sly performed his official duties by his untiring energy as a public servant and citizen contributed greatly to the advancement of the City of South San Francisco and tO its welfare; RESOLVED by the Board of'Trustees of the City of South San ~rancisco that this Board of Trustees and the members thereof express their deepest synpathy to Mrs A.nnie M. Cunningham in her hour of bereavement,and their sorrow at the'passing of Fred A. Cunningham and the consequent loss sustained by the community in which he wa~ at all times held in the highest esteem. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco this Z1 ~.
