A Regularly adjourned meeting of the City Co~mcil of the City of South San Francisco was hel, in the City Hall Wednesday evening October 19th,1927. This meeting was called to order at ? o'clock ~.m. by Councilman A.J.Eschelbach, Mayor of Soutl San Francisco. ROLL CALL. Roll call found the following members of the council -r~resent, to-wit;- Councilmen Lloyd, Minucciani, Tibbetts and Eschelbach. The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispense~: with. A communication was received from the Spring Valley Water company stating their holdings in land in this city had been reduced by actual survey to 53.22 acres, and had been so before assessmen' season, while they are charged with 4.841 additional acreage, the same being included in the parcel 53.22 acres. The clerk was instructed to have the statement verified by the county engineer. Metal & Thermit Corporation wrote a communication to the council stating the asse~:sment of ~50t for improvements.on their 16.2~9 acre tract seemed to be in erzor, as they own but s small building the property. Mayor Eschelbach stated a coDmittee of ~he board would make a personal inspection of premises in the near future. A~esolution providing for the painting of the city hall was introduced by Councilman Tibbetts Specifications for doing the work were adopted, and the date set for the opening of bids for the wor. set as November ?th,J92?, at 7;~0 o'clock p.m. The resolution was adopted by the unanimous vote of the members of the co~mcil present, to-wit Ayes, Councilmen, Lloyd,.Minucciani, Tibbetts, Eschelbach. Noes, Co~mcilman none. Absent, Councilmen, Hynding. Attest, Daniel McSweeney City Clerk ReCorded in Book of Resolutions, vol. 2, at page 155. The following claims against the city were next presented £or payment,- Granfield Farrar & Carlin, delivering street and road work Industrial City Lumber Company sewer pipe ~260.00 5.00 265.00 The claims havinff been audited by ~he finance committee Councilman Lloyd moved they be paid. The motion was seconded by Councilman ~dinucciani and regularly carried.
