A regularly adjourn~d meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco was held in the City Hall Wednesday evening, December 21st,1927. This meeting was called to order at 7:30 o'clock p.m. by Councilman A.J.Eschelbach, Idayor of South San Francisco. R0~ C~L. Roll c~ll found the following me~bers el' the Council present, to-wit;- Counciln~en, A.Hynding, R.Lloyd, R.Tibbetts , A.J.?~schelbach. Ab~.ent, I.j.~inucciani, Co~n~cil~an I~inucciani a~'~peared after roll call. Lopez & Pulido made a~-~plication for permission to hold dancing in their re£taumant, 20~ Grand Avenue during Christmas and New Year's Holidays. Permiosion denied. Application was made by the Pacific ~as & Electric Company for ?ermis~.io~ to ~et poles and re~ a pole on I.,lagnolia Avenue betwe~n Eailroad and Co~ercial Avenues. Hefer~ed to the street co~ittee. The application oI ~as.J.Jenuings for a soft drink license, together with tL. previous applic~ for soft drink and pool roo~J~ licenses,wa~~ r~ferred to the police co:.L~,~ission. APp.lication was ~ade hy the Foster & Xleiser for permission to construct a 100ftbill board s~ on t~o North ~ide of Grand .~lvenue lB0 feet e~.~t ~f ~=a~le Avenue. A co~J~mittee was ~point~d to look bill board sign situation on reco~mendation of CouncilL~an Hynding. The co~ittee appointed ~onsists o~ Councilmen ~yndfng, chairman, and councilmen Lloyd and Tibbetts with City Attorney Coleberd. The following claims against the city ~ere next presented for pa~unent;- Charlotte E.Farfan interpreting in i olice court $20.~00 The claim of ~12Z7.0© of the Lristo Painting C~mpany for l~ainting the city hall was allowed providing pa~unent was m~de to Jules Fere for re?airing the radiators and finishing the yainting of th~ exterior of the hall under the ~"upeervision of Co~uucil~an I~'~i~ucciani. On motion made by Co~LucilmanHynding, seconded by Co~mcilman L~Llo'yd and~fs~n~arly carried the claims were ordered ?aid. There bein~ no further business Co~'~ncilman Tibbetts moved to adjourn '~,until Thursday evening, December 22nd, 192~, at 7;Z0 o'clock p.m. The motion was ~'eco~ded by..¢ouncilman I~inucciani and regularly carried.
