A regularly adjourned meeting of the city council of the City of South San Francisco was hel~ il the City Hall Monday evening, April ££nd,1929. This meeting was called to order .at ?;Z0 p.m. by councilman i.J.~:schelbach, ~ayor of south San · ranci acc. h0LL CALL. Boll call found the following members of the city council present, to-wit:- councilmen, A.Hynding, a. Lloyd, E.Ttbbetts, A.J.Eschelbach. Absent, Councilman,~.~inucciani. The reading of the minutes of the Drevious meeting wes dispensed with. An application was received fro~ A.McBweeney, requesting permis~i~n to remove a buil~ing from th, northeast corner of San Bruno Eoad and~Grand Avenue to the northwest corner of Division Street and Grand Avenue. Councilman Hynding reported unsanitar~ sewer conditions in the %icinity of the Leipsic Crossing stating impure water and drainage runs from the Duck farm ane other farms on the ~isston ~oad to the pool at Liepstc Croasing and down to Com~..ercial Avenue and Eucalyptus. ~'he clerk was instructed to wr: the county health officer and request that he take steps to abate the nuisance. The subjects of widening Swift Avenue, the indus%rial Way Dra!nage System and the paving of Industrial ~ay, the matters for which the adjourned meeting was held to discuss, were brought before ti council by Eayor Eschelbach. The ~.ayor stated the action of the ~arket Street nailway, in failing to co-operate with the city in removing their tracks leaves the matter ~in an unsettled condition and ret~ the commencement of the work. Councilman Tibbetts was authorized to construst two stairs of sandstone in the civic center, as beginning. ~ayor Eschelbach announced that the adoption of the milk ordinance would be postponed until further study of it.
