A regularly adjourned meeting of the city council of t~_e Cit~ of ~outh San Franciscl was held in the City Hall, ~oneay evening, June Z4th,19Z9. This meeting was called to order at ?;ZO o'clock P.M. by Council~an A.J.Eschelbach, Mayor of South Sa~ Francisco. ROLL CALL. Roll call foun~ the following members of the city council present, to-wit;- Councilmen, A.Nynding, R.Tibbetts, A.J.Eschelbach. Absent, Councilmen, M.Einucciani and ~.Lloyd. The reading of the minutes of the ?revious meeting wa~ dispensed with. A communication was received from L.Penna asking permission to construct a room in r~ ~6fthe ~tore S79 Crand Avenue, and remove the partition backwards a ~un.ber of feet. Permission granl A Resolution of~'Ih~e~tio~'~ ~66, of the City of ~outh San Francisco declaring its 'intention to improve p~rttons of $~tft A~enue, in the City of SOuth San Francisco was' introduced by Counci~m~ Tibbetts and was psssed and adtpted by all the members of the city council present, to-wit;- Ayes, Councilmen, A.Hyneing, ~.Tlbbetts, A.J.Eschelbach, Moss, CoUncilmen, None, Absent, Councilmen, E.Lloyd and E.~iinucciani, Attest, Daniel ~cSweene~. Clt~ Clerk. ~ecorded in Book of ~esolutions, ¥o~.2, at page £~O.-as~-~g~ ~ The clerk was instructed to write the MaZket Street kailroad Comcany and the Southern Pacific kailroad Company notifying them that the city intends ~o ~iden ~wtft A~enue, and would expect them to do their share in p~ving the crossing at the junction of Swift and Grand Avenues.
