A regularly aijourned meeting of the city co~uacil of the City of '3outh San Francisco was hz in ~the city hall 13aturday morning, December klst,19sg, This meeting was called to order at 9 o'clock A.I~I. by Co~uncilman l.J.Eschelbach, I'gayor of ~outh San Francisco. ROLL CALL. ..... the - r~o!l call found the following members o~ council present, to-wit; Coomcilmen, A.Hynding, i{.I~.linucciani, R.Tibbetts, A.J.Eschelbach. Absent, Councilman,~R.Lloyd. Counci~_,m~ Lloyd anpeared~ after roli call. The reading of the minutes of the prey!cue meeting v. as dispensed with. ~zt~ the Pacific V,~ater Company, repr'esentative Eoberti of th~ As per previous arrangement ...... . compauy appeared before the council to inquire .~'~' to what agreement the city proposed to ma make in the settlement of the water company's claim against the city. After. various pro'positions l~%ayor Eschelbach o~f~red to pay the claim at the rate of ~300 per month until paid, comm_encing on January 6th,1930, with the consent of the copmcil. The eokncil being satisfied with the offer }~r. Eoberti accepted the same. Hef~rring to some apparent overcharges Co~ncilman Lloyd suggested that a com3nittee be appointedto inspect the service and find ~vhere '~i~e company had charged the citl>~ for pipe connected with hydrants with no other service. ~{r. Noberti admitted that there were. some errors of that kind, requested the water service superintendent, iYi. EP_~i~erlin to meet with the city's representative and make the corrections and ~nspe~tiom. Councilman Tibbetts was designated, by the cOuncil to attend to the city(s rights in the matter. RESOLUTION Conncilman L~inucciani i-~",troduced a res,lution authorizing the city attorne~,., of this city to commence condemnation proceedings against the Pacific Gas & Electric Company and others for a sewer right of way in a portion of Indr~strial Way. The resolution was adopted by the votes of all members of the city council~ Ayes, Counc.ilmen, A.Hynding, ~-...~!o~.d, l,Z.!~inucciani, R.Tibbetts,A.J'.Eschelbach. Noes, Councilmen, !ione.
