A regularly adjourned meeting of the city council of the City of South San Francisco was held in the city hall Monday evening, December ~0th,19£9. The meeting was called to order at 7 o'clock p.m. by Councilman A.J.Eschelbach, t~yor o£ South San Francisco. ROLL CALL. Roll call found the following members of the city council present, to-wit;- ~ ' ~ ~.~m~.~inucciani, R.Tibbetts, &.J.Eschelbach. Councilmen, A.Hyndmna, Absent, Councilman, R.Lloyd. The reading of the minutes of the previous meetings was dis~:'ensed with. An application was received from the Pacific Gas ~ Electric Company requesl~ing per- mi~;sion to ~u~ a two foot trehCh and lay an 8" pipe line in the north side of Swift ~venue £rom the new easterly line of Bayshore highway 1.1 mile ezaterly to the Idet~l & Thermit Corp'n and ,e~tern Mea~. Company to supply natural gas On motion by councilman ~ibbetts, seconded by Coune- cilman Minucciani and regd~a~ly,~c~rried the desired permission was granted· Notice of resetting the hearing of the Bay Shore Auto Stages, Pacific Auto Stages,Inc'. ~nd the Peninsular Hapi~ Transit Company's aps. lication for permission to operate upon the New Bay Sh Shore Highway, was received from the Railroad Cmmmission of the State of Cali£ornia. The date was ordered changed from January 14th,19SO to Tuesday, February 18th,19Z0, before Co~issioner Seavey. Filed for record. Replies were received from the City o£ Menlo Park and the Chamber of Commerce of San Jos Jose, stating they are favorable to the change of nsme of the New Bay Shore Highway to Bay Shore Boulevard.
