CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,HELD MONDAY,

Pursuant to call signed by all the members of the cit~- council of the_C.ity of South

San Francisco, of which the followi~':g is a copy;-~
"The undersigned members of the city council of the ~ity of South San Francisco hereby
call a special meeting of said Oity Oouncil to be held at the hour of eight o'clock p.m. on
the ~Sth day of October,1940, in the 8ouncil Chamber in the City Hall of the City of South
San Francisco for tDe purpose of considering and acting upon the map of Southwood Subdivision
of a portion of California Golf Club property near ~outh San Francisco, San Mateo County,
California, and for such other business as may regularly come before said meeting; and we
hereby waive notice of said meeting and consent to the transaction thereat of all such busine:
as may regularly come before said meeting.

the Gity Council of the City of South San Francisco assembled in special session in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall of said city on Monday, October ~8,1940, at 8 o'clock P.M.
~ayor Holston called the council to-gether and the following members answered the roll c~
Co~ncilmen,V.Boido,George W.Holston,Reese Lloyd, and D.W.~atto. Councilman Tibbetts was
Absent.
The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with.
Councilman Boido introduced a resolution of the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco approving the ~ap of Southwood subdivision upon the conditions specified in
paragraphs No.1 and No.~ of the~ subdivision~of Paradise Valley.
The resolution was adopted bN the votes of all the members of the City Council present,~
follows;- Ayes, Councilmen~ V.~oido, George W.Holston, Reese Lloyd, D.W.Ratto.
Noes, Councilmen,None.
Absent, Councilmen, Rod Tibbetts.

Eecorded in Book of Resolutions, Volume 3, at page No. ~78, Resolution No. V84.
Marion Petroff was granted to building permit to construct a two story building on. the
S.E.CSr. of Aspen Avenue and Linden Avenue, on lot No.lM,Block No.135, at a cost of$78~0, thg
same ~o be used for a store and dwelling .
There being no further business before the council,~councilman Lloyd moved to adjourn~
till Monday, November 4th,1940, at ~ o'clock P.~i. The motion was seconded by Councilman Ratto
and rggularly carried.
