A regularly adjourned meeting of the city council of the City of South San Francisco
was held in the city hall Friday, Ray ~3,1941.
This meetinf was called to order at 1;30 o'clock P.~i. by l~ayor ,.~eorge W.Holston.

Roll call found the following members of the City Council present;-
Councilmen, ~.Boido, George W.Holston, D.W.Ratto, Rod Tibbetts.
" Assent;- Councilman Reese Lloyd.
The reading of t~e minutes of the ~ previous meetings was dispensed with.

RESOLUTION ADOPTINS SPECIFICATIONS
AND CALL1R:) FOR BIDS FOR BASIC ROCK FOR
5~E iL~ROVE~,ENT OF EAST GRAND AVENUE.
Councilman Ratto intro~ed a resolution of the City ~of South San Francisco specifying
that(l) crusher run rock~(2) Red,Brown a~d Gray shale rock in the amount of not less than
~800 cubic yards and not more than 0000 cubic yards of rock of t~e above varities be bid upon
for tLe improvement of East Grand A~enue and set the date for the opening of bids for such
rock as June 9,1~l in the council chambers of the cit~ council in the city hall up to 8
o'clock P.~. on said date. ~he resolution was adopted by the votes of all the council~en
present, as follows;-
Ayes, Councilmen, V.~oido,Geprge W.Holston, ~.~¥.Ratto, Hod TiDbetts.
Noes, Councilmen,None.
