Call and waiver of notice of a special meeting of the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, of which the following is a copy;-
The undersigned, members of the City Council
of t~_e City of South San Francisco,hereby call a special meeting of said City Council,to be held
in the Council Chamber,in the City Hall, of said city on Wednesday,September o,l~4~,at the hour of
8 o'clock P.E. for the purpose of acting upon a resolution ordering excavation of channels for
Colma Creek,between Linden Avenue and Orange Avenue, in the City of South San Francisco; and for
the transaction of all other b~.~siness which may regularly come before said 6ity Council; and
we hereby waive notice of said meeting and consent to the transastion thereat of all such
business as may resiularly c~me before said Oity C~uncil.

Roll call found all councilman present, as follows;-
Councilmen,V.~oido,Geo.W.Holsto~, Reese Lloyd,~.~inucciani,D.W.Ratto.
The reading of the minutes of the previous meetings was dispensed with.
RESOLU%'ION N0.869 .
Councilman ~.~inucciani introduced a resolution of the city council of the City of South
San ~rancisco,adopting plans and specifications and ordering the excavation 'of channels for
Colma Creek between Linden Avenue and Orange Avenue in the city of South San ~Tancisco, and setting
the date ~f September 1,~,lg~, at 8 o'clock P.~. in the council chamber of the city hall, as the
hour and date upon which sealed proposals will be opened for doing the work. The resolution was
adopted by the following vote;-
Ayes, Councilmen, V.Boido, Geo.W.Holston,Reese Lloyd, N.~inucciani,D,W.Ratto.
Noes, Councilmen,None.Absent,Councilmen,None. Attest Daniel ~cSweeney.

Articles of agreement and contract were submitted for the signatures of the ~ayor and City
Clerk of South San Francisco permitting the United States Government to connect the main Sanitary
sewer of the Tanforan Park Reception Center to the existin~i manhole in the South San ~ancisco sewer
in Huntin!-..ton Avenue,all costs to be paid by the U.S.Government, ete. Councilman Lloyd moved the
desired permission be granted. The motion was seconded by councilman holston and regularly carrdad. ~
A communication fro~ county engineer Grant. ~g~vel figures the county will charge if their
equipment is rented by the city,as follows;-Nort~est dragline,~O a day, with matts, ~1.80 additional.
~0 horse-~ower ~ractor ~ulldozer ~ a day, ~0 Horsepower ~ractor Sulldozer,~.00 per day, including
wages,fuel,grease and insurance on all equipment, in addition the city will pay hauling charge, to and
from ~edwood City ~ards. The s~tatement was satisfactory to the city councilmen.
There being no further business~before the council councilman Holston moved to adjourn until
Tuesday,September 8,1~,i~at'~8 o'clock P.E. The motion was seconded by councilman Lloyd and regularly
