A regularly adjourned meeting of the city council of the City of South San ~rancisco wa~:
held ~.n the city hall ~Y[onday evenin?~,November_ o3,1940.
Ibis meeting was called to order at 8 o'clock ?.~.,:. by ~,.~ayor D.V,'.Ratto.
ROLL CALL.
Roll call found all members of the council present,as follows;-
Councilmen,V.Boido,George W.Holston,Reese ]loyd,~.~;inucciani,D.W.Ratto.
The reading of th, e minutes of the previous meetin~'~ was dispensed with.
City attorney Coleberd reported he had contacted Peter Lind,owner of lots 1 an~ ~, San
~runo Road Tract, in the matter of securing 10 feet of the south side sloe of lot 1 for right
of way purposes to widen Butler Avenue. He stated ~lr. Lind wanted ~I~500 for his interest in the
premises. As the amount appeared exorbitant to the councilmen it was decided to enlist the
services of an appraieer. ~he city attorney was dele~[ated to take care of the matter an5 reporv
back to the city council, number
Police officer ~'erragno reported an extraordinary'of dogs running at large about the city
and requested the council to take some stems to eradicate *~e nuisance. Ail councilmen agreed that
this was a fact and will take measures to exterminate the pests.
Judge ~'ardy reported that ~[rs. Helen S~ebecker would be unable to assist in the Christmas.~
festivities as an aasistant to City attorney Coleberd, on account o~,~he many duties required of her
in her recreational work. After some discussion it was decided that~forego any celebration this year.
There being no further business before the board councilman Holston moved to adjourn until
~onday,~fovember 30,1~4~ at 8 o'clock P.E. The motion was seconded by councilman Lloyd and regularly
