A regularly adjourned meeting of the city council of the, City of South San Francisco was held in the City Hall, Tuesday evening, November 13,1945. This meeting was called to order at 7 o'clock P.M. by Mayor George W.Holston. ROLL CALL. Roll call found the following members of the council present;- Councilmen. G.A.Anderson, M,Minucciani and George W.Holston. The reading of the minutes of.the previous meeting was suspended. A petition was received Mr. L.C.Maychuck, containing names of l~ persons in his vicintt~ objecting to sanitary conditions in and around the Nulkey Court,in Baden. The petition stated the camp is overcrowded, inadequate toilets, inadequate facilities for garbage disposal, unsanitary conditionS for the ladles and men's floors in the shower baths, and inadequate fire facilitles..,' ~ayor Holston explained that th~:re had been no reflection before on the place, and stated the sanitary department would attend to whatever is wrong with the same~ · Jean Justice of the Town of Baden appemred before the City Council and asked if there were an~ restrictions upon fence building around his lot. ~e was told there were none. Mr. Coleberd brought up the subject of the new bonds, voted upon last August 31.,1945. He stated the~ must be passed upon after he has looked them up,and recommended Mr. Harrington of the firm of Orrick, Brown & Harrington,405 Montgomery Street,San Francisco. Councilman Minucciani moved that the firm of Orrick,Brown& Harrington be employed. The motion was seconded by councilman Anderson and regularly carried. Mr. Coleberd asked for a leave of absence of one month to attend the National Institue of Municipal Law, at Washington, D.C., and expenses. Councilman Minucciani moved that he be granted a leave of absence for one month and expenses to the convention. ~he motion was seconded by councilman Anderson and regularly carried.
