ADJOURNE1) REGULAR ~IEETING OF THE CI'l~ COU~hUIL OF THE CITY OF sOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO, HELD ON THE loth DAY OF ~FEBRUARY, 1946 ~
Pursuant to adjournment, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco held an ad-
journed regular session on Tuesday, the 1.oth day of February, 10.46, at 8 o'clock p. m.
Roll Call found councilmen present as follows: Cf~. a. Anderson, Charles'K. Elder, G. W.
Eolston, M. Minucciani and Vict~ Boido No councilman was absent
ByI reason of the absence of the City Clerk and the Deputy City Clerk from~said~me~ting,
upon motion made by Councilman Minucciani, seconded by Councilman ~oido and regular2.v
carried, Councilman Charles K. Elder was elected to act~as City Clerk pro tern.
Mayor G. W. Holston then stated that the purpose of the me~ting was to take steeps.pre-
liminary to the calling Of a special election to submit to the voters of South San ~an-
cisco the proposition of incurring an ~ndeStedness for the const~u6tlon and eq~uipm~ent
of a central police station in 6his city.
William Henr~y Rowe, an architect Previously employed by'the city, then sub~mitte~d ~lans
and specifications fo~ the construction of the proposed central police station, tOget,
her with an estimate of the cost of such structure and equipment for the same. His
estimate is $125,000.00 ThereUpon ResolUtion A was read and~ upon motion regularly
made an~l seconded, upon roll call, adopted by the unanimous vote of sa2i City Council.

Thereupon Resolution B was read and, upon motion re~larly made'and seconded, u~on
roll call, adopted by tne unanimous vote of said city council. Recorded in Vo~l, 4
Book of Resolutions at p'age $2 '- Resolution No~ 1076.
No further business appearing, ~pon motion regularly made, seconded and carried
by the unanimous vote of said City Council, said meeting was adjourned to FebrUary
26,~ 1946, at t~e hour of 7:30 o'clock p. m.
