ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISC,O HELD MONDAY, DECF~BER 8, 19&7.

Th~ meeting was called to order by Mayor Ferko at 7:30 p.m.
The City Clerk having forwarded copy of the mihutes of the previous meeting to all
members of the City Council, Mayor Ferko asked if any omissions or errors were
noted: There being none the minutes were approved as submitted.
Counci~ Elder introduced a resolution approving map entitled: "Resubdivision
South/C~ercial Tract South San Francisco". This resolution was adopted by the
unanimous vote of all members of the City Council.
Applications were received from Ralph Lamb and Leo H. Albertson to sell Christmas
trees. Motion was duly made, seconded and carried that the permits be granted' pro=
viding same comply with the business ordinances.
Ordinance No. 269, adopting a zoning or districting plan for the City of South San
Francisco, was read in its entirety. As this was the second reading and their being
no protests, the ordinance was adopted by the unanimous vote of all members of the
City Council.
Mr. Minucciani-addressed the ~ouncil on the subSect of payment of painting licenses.
He stated there were a number of contractors doing painting in the City who had no
painting license.
Mr. Burgess complained along the same lines with reference to the cleaning and dyeing
business. After some discussion motion was duly made, seconded and regularly carried
that the Building Inspector'and Assistant Building Inspector be deputized so that
they would have the authority to issue citations to anyone failing to have a business
license.
On motion of Councilman Holston~, seconded by Councilman Sani and regularly carried
the meeting adjourned to Monday, December 15, 19d7 at 8:00 p.m.
