The m~e~ing was called to order by Mayor Ferko at 8:00 p.m.
Reading of the minutes of the previous meetings was dispensed with.
Estes Engineering Co. submitted map showing proposed extension of Spin,ce Avenue from
Railroad Avenue to E1 Csmino Real. Estimated cost of this road was $17~00. Mayor
Ferko asked for comments on this work.
Rep~.esentative of Sor. ich Bucket ~o. stated he was in favor of this new road provided
the assessment was on an equitable basis.
Mr. 'Shaw of South San Francisco Land & Improvement Co. stated he was opposed to any
assessment on property,fronting on the proposed road. He said a general assessment
district should he formed for this work. He also stated the South San Francisco Land
& Improvement Co. wQuld deed Magnolia Avenue to Atkinson Co. if the City decided on
the.closing of MagnoliaAvenue and the Land Company would be willing to d~ed any
right-of-way necessary to the extension of Spruce Avenue.
After some discussion Mayor Ferko appointed the following committee to work with the
City Council and check into all the details of the proposed extension of Spruce Avenue:

SEWER D~ISPOSAL PLANT:
Mayor Ferko brought up the matter of sewage disposal plant. He stated that the City
of San Bruno intende~ to place this matter on the April ballot. City Attorney Coleberd
advised that he and Judge Rapsey of San Bruno would meet with the representative of
the City of San Francisco to see if they could not get San Francisco interested in
this disposal plant.
B~I BURI WATER LINE:
LINDEN AVENUE
IMPROV~ENT:
With reference to the San Francisco Water Co. constructing water line in the Buri Buri
Subdivision it was noted that the City or.South San Francisco had granted the City of
San Francisco permission to construct such water line under Resolution No. ll~4 dated
September ~, 19~6.
The matter of the improvement of Linden Avenue was brought up. After a great deal of
discussionMayor Ferko asked the committee he had appointed to check into the Spruce
Avenue extension, to look into the improvement of Linden Avenue.
ADJO~ENT:
On motion of Councilman Holston, seconded by Councilman Elder, and regularly carried
the meeting was adjourned to Nonday Febm~ary 16, 19~8 at 8:00 p.m.
