· Present: Councilmen.Victor Boido, Chas. K. Elder, Leo Ferko, Adolph Sani, Emilio
Cortesi.
The m~eting was called to order by Mayor Ferko at 7:30 p.m.
The City Clerk having forwarded copy of the minutes of the meeting of ~une 7th to all
members of the City Council, Mayor Ferko asked if any errors or omissions were noted.
Councilman Sani called attention to the fact that in the Harbor Committee Leo Eserini
was not mentioned as Chairman. City Clerk was instructed to make this correction.
Mayor Ferko read the budget figures as presented by each department. He explained the
segregation in detail and stated the figures showed a tentative tax rate of $1.90 for
the fiscal year 19&8-49.
~ouncilman Elder moved, seconded by Councilman Sani that the budgets as submitted by
the various deDartments be approved. This motion was regularly carried.
A resolution was presented accepting the easement of T. H. Thorinson, et al. As the
description of this property should be checked, the matter was referred to the Works
Engineer.
CounCilman Cortesi mentioned that something should be done toward apuroving site for
the sub-station at the West end of the City.. A meeting was arrange~u~ring the week
to look over grounds for a site.
On motion of Councilman Sani, seconded by Councilman Elder and regularly carried the
meeting was adjourned to June 21, 1948 at 8:00 p.m.
