BID~: SEWERS - FRANCISCO TERRACE: ~E~ENT TO AMUSemENT DEVICE ORDINANCE: ADJOURNMENT: ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO P~.~ WEDNESDAY, AUGUST &, 19A8. Council Chambers, City Hall 7:30 p.m. Present: Councilmen Victor Boido, Chas. K. Elder, Leo Ferko, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Ferko at 7:30 p.m. Reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with. Councilman Elder reported that he and Councilman Cortesi had contacted Mr. Simpson of Buri Buri Homes with reference to the price of Lots 1 and 2 in Block 1. Mr. Simpson stated ~he would take the matter~ up at the Board of Directors' meeting to be held Monday night, August 9th, and he would have an answer before the Council for their meeting of August i6th. Councilman Sani stated he had asked John Mangini to appear at this Council meeting and explain his reason for wanting to re. sign. This matter was laid over. Architect Rowe presented plans and specificati0ds for the .proposed new Police Dept. Building. Councilman Sani int=oduced a resolution calling for bids. Motion was made.~and carrie, d that this resolution be read by title only. Clerk then read title of resolution - "A Resolution of the City Council Calling For Bids For The Construction of a Central Police Station in the City of South San Francisco". This resolution was adopted by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council. klans and specifications Covering sanitary and storm sewers in Francisco Terrace were presented. Motion was duly .mad. e, seconded and carried that the plans and specifica- tions submitted for sanitary and storm sewers in Francisco Terrace be approved subject to recommended changes by the Works Engineer. The ~ouncil recessed at 8:30 p.m. and reconvened at 9:05 p.m. An ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 276 of The City of South San F~ancisco 'Entitled An Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco Licensing Amusement and Mechanical Devices' ", Adopted July 26th, 19&8, was given its first reading. No further business appearing, a motion was made,by Councilman Elder, seconded by Councilman Cortesi that said City Council adjourn to Friday, August 6th, 1%8, at &:30 p.m. The motion was carried.
