HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes 1949-04-26386 ROLL CALL: CALL TO ORDER: RESOLUTION NO. 1~39 BELAIR PROPERTY: ADJOURNNE~T: SPECIAL MEETING OF I~E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO HELD TUESDAY, APRIL 26, 19&9. A Special meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco was called for A:AO p.m., April 26th, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the proposition to accept the letter of intent of the United States of America for the sale to the City of South San Francisco of Tract II of the Belair Shipyard. Present: Councilmen Victor Boido, Chas. K. Elder, Leo Ferko, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi. The meeting' was called to order by Mayor Ferko at &:gO p.m. Communication addressed to Mayor Ferko was received from the War Assets Administration requesting immediate acceptance and return of one copy-of a Letter of Intent dated March llth covering the Belair.property. Councilman Sani introduced a resolution accepting the Letter of Intent of the United States of America acting by and through the War Assets A~mlnistration. This resolution authorized the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a certificate embodying the provisiens of this resolution. This resolution was adopted by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council. On motion of Councilman Sani, seconded by Councilman Elder and regularly carried the meeting was adjourned to Monday, May2nd.
