Council Chambers, City Hall. 7:30 o'clock p.m.. . Present: Councilmen Victor Boido, Chas. K..Elder, Leo Ferk~, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi. Th~ ~eeting was called to order by Mayor Ferko at 7:30 p.m. Councilman Sani introduced a resolutign fixing the salary of various City employees. This resolution ~as adopted by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council. Petition, signed by various electors residing within the Country Club Park territory, was presented. Same asked that this territory be annexed to the City of South San Francisco. This petition, was placed on file. Councilm~n Elder introduced a resolution declaring the city's intention to call a special election for the annexation of the unincorporated territory known as Country Club Park to the City of South San Francisco. This resolution was adopted by the unanimous vote of all members of the Qity Couo. cil. Councilman Cortesi introdgced a resolution providing for the issuance of street improvement bonds and prescribing the denominations of such bonds and the interest coupons attached covering Brentwood No. 2 Subdivision. This resolution was adopted by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council. Motion was duly made, seconded and carried that the claim of the Freeman Paving Go. i9 the amount of $5,953.90, covering the improvement of Grand Avenue, be paid. An ordinance establishing a revolving fund for the City Clerk came up for second readi This ordinance was read by title only and considered as second reading. This ordinance was adopted by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Chas. K. Elder, Leo Ferko, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi. Noes, Councilmen None. Absent, Councilmen None. An ordinance providing for parking'motor Eehicles on sloping streets or highways came up for second reading. This ordinance was read by title only and considered as second reading. This ordinance was adopted by the ~ollowing vote: Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Chas. K. Elder, .Leo Ferko, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi. Noes, Council- men None. Absent, Councilmen None. An ordinance authorizing an amendment to the contract with the State Employees' Retirement S~stem came up for second reading. This ordinance was read by title on12 and considered as second reading. This ordinance was adopted by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Chas. K. Elder, Leo Ferko, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi Noes, Councilmen None. Absent, Councilmen None. City Manager Larwood stated that ~uri Buri Homes, Inc. was desireous of erecting a ' sign on their property and wished permission to erect same. Motion was duly made, seconded and carried that permission be granted the B~ri Buri Homes to erect sign on their property subject to the approval of the Planning Commission and that the sign be removed after a period of 90 days.
