CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL FOR THE MUNICIPAL
SERVICES BUILDING ATRIUM RESTROOM
MODERNIZATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, City of South San Francisco ("City") staff issued a Notice Inviting Bids for
the Municipal Services Building Atrium Restroom Modernization Project ("Project") and
received twelve (12)bids on February 24, 2015 in response; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 20166, a public entity retains the
discretion to reject all bids it receives on a given project; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends rejecting all bids for the Project and offering it for re-bid
at a later date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby rejects all bids for the Municipal Services Building
Atrium Restroom Modernization Project and directs staff to advertise again for bids for the
project.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 8t` day of
April, 2015 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Karyl Matsumoto, Pradeep Gupta, and Liza Normandy
Vice Mayor Mark N. Addiego and Mayor Richard A. Garbarino
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: None
