CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE
MUNICIPAL SERVICES BUILDING ATRIUM RESTROOM
MODERNIZATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, City of South San Francisco ("City") staff issued a Notice Inviting Bids for
the Municipal Services Building (MSB) Atrium Restroom Modernization Project ("Project") and
on May 5, 2015 received five (5)bids in response; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 20166, a public entity retains the
discretion to reject all bids it receives on a given project; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that it is not in the best interest of the City to
expend funds on this project at this time while the City is still considering alternative
reconstruction plans for the Municipal Services Building; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends rejecting all bids for the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby rejects all re-bids for the Municipal Services Building
Atrium Restroom Modernization (Project No. pfl 509).

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 24t day of
June 2015 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Karyl Matsumoto and Liza Normandy
Vice Mayor Mark N. Addiego and Mayor Richard A. Garbarino
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: Councilmember Pradeep Gupta
