HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 61-2015 RESOLUTION NO. 61-2015 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY COUNCIL HANDBOOK REGARDING COUNCILMEMBER HEALTHCARE BENEFITS WHEREAS, staff recommends amending Appendix 4 to the City Council Handbook to increase Council Members' contribution to their healthcare premiums and require such contributions to match non-safety full-time AFSCME-represented employees' contributions; and WHEREAS,such proposed amendments will take effect when all non-safety bargaining unit Memorandum of Understandings provide for employee cost-share for healthcare benefits; and WHEREAS, such proposed amendments to Appendix 4 are attached to this resolution as Exhibit A and are incorporated herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco hereby approves and authorizes amendments to the City Council Handbook, attached as Exhibit A. * * * * * I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 24`h day of June 2015 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Karyl Matsumoto and Liza Normandy Vice Mayor Mark N.
