HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 70-2015 RESOLUTION NO. 70-2015 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION PROVIDING INTERIM SPENDING AUTHORITY FOR THE FIRST 60 DAYS OF THE 2015-16 FISCAL YEAR, IN THE EVENT THE 2015-16 OPERATING BUDGET IS NOT APPROVED ON JUNE 24, 2015 WHEREAS, the City's authority to expend funds granted under prior budget resolutions expires June 30, 2015; and WHEREAS, a resolution must be passed to allow for continued operations until the budget is adopted, assuming the budget is not adopted June 24, 2015; and WHEREAS, the proposed resolution allows the 2014-15 operating budget to be continued for a period of 60 days into fiscal year 2015-16 in terms of staffing and appropriations, which would be prorated accordingly. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby approves interim spending for the first 60 days of the fiscal year in the event the 2015-16 operating budget is not approved on June 24, 2015. * * * * * I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 24th day of June 2015 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Karyl Matsumoto and Liza Normandy Vice Mayor Mark N.
