CALL TO ORD~s The meeting was called to order by Mayor Ahem at 5s44 p.m. ROLL CALLs Presents Absent5 Councilmen Patrick E. Ahem, Andrew Rocca Councilman Guido J. Rozzi Frank J. Bertucelli, Emilio Cortesi, and RESOLUTIONS AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT - STREET & SITE IMP. WESTBOROUGH SQUARE 5 ACCEPTING GRANTS OF RIGttT OF WAY - GELLERT AND WESTBOROUGH BOULEVARDS City Attorney Noonan remarked that with regar¢ to the first two resolutions entitled~ 'A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT - STREET AND SITE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS - WESTBOROUGHSQUARE" and "A RESOLUTION ACCEPTIFGGRANTS OF RIGHT OF WAY'GELLERT AND WESTBOROUGH BOULEVARDS" he bad,hoPed to present the two tonight but that neither of the two documents had been received from the (evelopers and that he had informed them that he could have the City Council order an &ppeal on the Connolly Use Permit and set the Public Hearing for July 25 or 26. He then explained to Council the reason for this procedure requesting that they consicer a motion ordering that the deter- mination of the Planning Commission granting t;he Use Permit-39 to permit the estab- lishment of a shoppinu center at the northwest:erly corner of Westborough Boulevard and Junipero Serra Freeway in a C-1 District stand appealed and a Public Hearing be set thereon for July 25, 1967 at 7530 p.m. Councilman Bertucelli so moved, seconded by Ceuncilman Rocca. Roll call on the motion was as follows5 Ayes, Councilmen Patrick E. Ahern, Frank J. Bertucelli, Emilio Cortest, and Andrew Rocca. Noes, none. Absent, Councilman Guido J. Rozzi. RESOLUTION NO. 4711 RESCINDING RESO. NO. 46765 City Attorney Noonan then explained the next resolution for Council's attention, after which Councilman Rocca Introduced5 "RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 4676." Roll call vote was as followss Ayes, Councilnen Patrick E. Ahern, Frank J. Bertucelli, Emilio Cortesi and Andrew Rocca. Noes, none. Absent, Councilman Guido J. Rozzl. RESOLUTION NO. 4712 APPROVING PLANS & SPECS CALLING BIDS FOR TENNIS COURT IMPROVEMENTS, ORANGE MB~ORIAL PARK l Council next considered the Inter-Office Memorandum dated June 21, 1967 fro~ the Superintendent of Recreation and Parks requesting approval of plans and Specifications and authorizing the calling for bids for Tennis Court Improvements, Orange Memorial Park. City Manager Aiello explained the changes made in the plans which were continued over from the meeting of July 3, 1~67 ~fter~ich brief discussion followed regarding the matter of parking spaces and removal .of twees later if necessary. Councilman Rocca then introduceds "A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZING THE WORK AND CALLING BIDS FOR T~NPIS COURT IMPROVRMBNTS, OP~GBMBMORIAL PARK. Roll call vote was as follows5 Ayes, Councilnen Patrick E. Ahern, Frank J. Bertucelli, Emilio Cortest and Andrew Rocca. Noes, none. Absent, Councilman Guido J. Rozzt. APPEAL OF CAESAR CALLAN HOMES, INC. s Communication dated June 28, 1~67 was received from Caesar Callan Homes, Inc., appealing the decision of the Planning Commission on their Use Permit-58. City Attorney Noonan briefly explained to Council the procedure after which he suggested a Public Hearing date,be set for the meeting of August 7, 1967. Councilman Bertucelli so moved, seconded by Councilman Cortest and regularly carried.
