The meeting was called to order by Mayor Pro Tem Steinkamp at' 7:47 p.m.
Presentl Councilmen Patrick E. Ahem, F. Frank Mammini, Andrew Rocca and Warren
Steinkamp.
Absent: Councilman Frank 3. Bertucelli.
City Manager McKenzie reported that the meeting had been adjourned to this evening
to consider the matters of the 2~-acre pa~k site in Westborough and the ~estborough
Fire Station. He further reported that all of the information concerning the ~
acre park site was not in nor was all of the information submitted from the contractor
for the Westborough Fire House and requested a continuance on both matters.
There being no objections, Mayor Pro Tem Steinkamp so ordered.
There being no objections, Mayor Pro Tem Stetnkamp then adjourned the meeting ~o the
Study Conference Room.

PRESENTATIONS OF
WAGE CO~9~ITTEES:
At the meeting of the City Council in the Study Conference Room during which time there
were present representatives of the various employee groups, City Manager McKenzie
requested that those representatives present make their presentations in behalf of
their individual groups.
At this time, Mr. Frank Gillis, Business Agent for the American Federation of City
and County Employees, requested of Council that they nominate a negotiator and that
such presentations will be delivered to the negotiator and only to the negotiator and
not to Council and, furthermore, that such negotiations be held in private session,
closed to the public, press and all other employees and employee organizations which
he does not represent.
APPOINTMENT OF ACTING
CITY CLERK:
In the absence of City Clerk Arthur Rodondi, City Council appointed Assistant City
Manager Laurence Ross to act as Acting City Clerk.
RESOLUTION NO. 5132
DESIGNATING N~JNICIPAL
E~PLOYEE RELATIONS
OFFICER:
Councilman Mammini introduced the resolution entitled~ "A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING
N~3NICIPAL EN~LOYE5 RELATIONS OFFICER FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO."
Roll call vote was as follOws~ Ayes, Councilmen Patrick ~. Ahem, F. Frank Mammini,
Andrew Rocca and Warren Steinkamp. Noes, none. Absent, Councilman Frank 3. Bertucelli.
The meeting was then adjourned by Mayor Pro Tem Steinkamp to August 18, 1969.
