CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH ECS IMAGING, INC. FOR
MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT OF THE CITY'S
LASERFICHE SOFTWARE FOR A THREE YEAR TERM IN
AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $68,000.
WHEREAS, The City of South San Francisco had an existing agreement with ECS
Imaging, Inc. for LaserFiche maintenance services that has expired; and
WHEREAS, on June 12, 2015, the Information Technology Department sent out a
Request For Proposal (RFP) for a three (3) year contract regarding LaserFiche maintenance and
support to over 458 subscribers; and
WHEREAS, two (2) firms responded to the RFP; and
WHEREAS, the lowest proposal response to the RFP was submitted by ECS Imaging,
Inc. of Concord, CA; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed ECS Imaging's qualifications and recommends entering
into a services agreement with ECS Imaging for LaserFiche maintenance and support.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby approves LaserFiche maintenance and support agreement
with ECS Imaging, Inc., in an amount not to exceed sixty eight thousand dollars ($68,000).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the
Agreement on behalf of the City, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to take any
other action consistent with the intent of this Resolution.

the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 8th day of
July 2015 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Karyl Matsumoto, Pradeep Gupta, and Liza Normandy
Vice Mayor Mark N. Addiego and Mayor Richard A. Garbarino
