CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SOUTH CITY PLACE
SUBDIVISION FINAL MAP AND SUBDIVISION
IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE
CONCURRENT RECORDATION OF THE MAP, THE
SUBDIVISION AGREEMENT, AND THE APPROVED
DECLARATION OF COVENANTS, CONDITIONS AND
RESTRICTIONS AND RELATED DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, staff recommends approval of the final map and subdivision improvement
agreement, the authorization of the City Manager to execute the subdivision improvement
agreement,the concurrent recordation of the final map,the subdivision agreement, (D.C.C.&R.'s)
and related documents; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer and the City's technical reviewer, with concurrence of all
affected City departments and divisions,have determined that the South City Place Subdivision Final
Map,on-site improvements,landscaping drawings,D.C.C.&R.'s and all related documents and plans
are in compliance with the Subdivision Map Act,the City's Subdivision Ordinance and all applicable
tentative map conditions of approval for said development; and
WHEREAS,the final map,subdivision improvement agreement and D.C.C.&R.'s have been
signed by the subdivider; and
WHEREAS,the South City Place Final Map will subdivide the property consisting of two(2)
lot tracts for thirty-five (35)residential condominium units; and
WHEREAS, the condominium units will be served by private roads (Edmonson Way,
Edgewood Way, and Swiftwood Way), sewers, storm drains, and other utilities which will be
maintained by a homeowner's association; and
WHEREAS, the condominium units will also be served by emergency vehicle access
easements,public utility easements,public sidewalk easements,and water meter easements,that will
overlay the private streets as dedicated to the public and accepted by the City on the public's behalf.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby:
1. Subject to execution of the Subdivision Improvement Agreement, approves the South
City Place Subdivision Final Map and CC&Rs.
2. Approves the subdivision improvement agreement and authorizes the City Manager to
execute the subdivision improvement agreement, on behalf of the City.
3. Authorizes the City Clerk to record the South City Place Subdivision Final Map,and all
related documents.
4. Accepts the dedication of emergency vehicle access easements,public utility easements,
public sidewalk easements, and water meter easements.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 22nd day of July,
2015 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Karyl Matsumoto, Pradeep Gupta, and Liza Normandy
Vice Mayor Mark N. Addiego and Mayor Richard A. Garbarino
