CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING FOR THE INTERNATIONAL UNION OF
OPERATING ENGINEERS UNIT, DATED JULY 1, 2014
THROUGH JUNE 30, 2017.
WHEREAS, staff recommends approval of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 39 unit, dated July 1, 2014 through
June 30, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding was prepared by the Human Resources
Department, has been approved as to form by the City Attorney, and incorporates the agreed
upon terms and conditions of employment for the International Union of Operating Engineers,
Local 39 unit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby approves the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for
the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 39 unit, dated July 1, 2014 through June
30, 2017.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 22na day of
July, 2015 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Karyl Matsumoto, Pradeep Gupta, and Liza Normandy
Vice Mayor Mark N. Addiego and Mayor Richard A. Garbarino
