City Hall Council Chambers.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Mirri at 5:05 PM.
Present: Councilmen Richard A. Battaglia, F. Frank Mammini,
Terry J. Mirri, and Warren Steinkamp.
Absent: Councilman Leo Padreddii.
The City Attorney reported that the results of the Bond
Election had not yet been received and would therefore be
scheduled for the regular meeting of July I, 1974.
The request of Councilman Mammini to leave the country on
June 23, 1974 and again in May and June of 1975 was
granted.
The City Manager reported to Council that the architect
was present to discuss with Council the remodeling of
the City Council Chambers.
Mr. Ted DeWolf at this time distributed to the members
of the City Council copies of the plans for their review.
Councilman Padreddii appeared present at 5:20 PM and
remained for the duration of the meeting.
Architect Ted DeWolf through the use of renderings explained
the proposed changes, the need for visual screens and costs
in the remodeling.
Mr. DeWolf then introduced Mr. Dominguez, an employee in
his firm, who explained to Council the need for structural
repairs in the tower and roof of the City Hall and the costs
involved.
Lengthy discussion followed after which Councilman
Mammini moved that the Council agree to s~end $100,000.00
for expansion of the Council Chambers and that there is a
possibility that it will exceed $350,000.00.

Further discussion followed after which Mayor Mirri
stated that the motion died for lack of a second.
Councilman Mammini then withdrew his motion.
After brief discussion Councilman Mammini moveU, seconded
by Councilman Battaglia and regularly carried that when
bids go out they be segregated to bring the building up
to code and expand the building.
Mayor Mirri recessed the meeting at 6:20 PM to an
Executive Personnel Session.
__The meeting was recalled to order at 6:50 PM with all
Council present. Mayor Nirri announced that no action
was taken during the Executive Session.
Mayor Mirri then adjourned the meeting at 6:51 PM.
