HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 119-2015 RESOLUTION NO. 119-2015 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM KAISER PERMANENTE AND AMENDING THE 2015-16 ADOPTED BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,900 IN RECOGNITION OF ADDING A STOP TO THE SOUTH CITY SHUTTLE. WHEREAS, in September 2014, the City of South San Francisco received $282,034 in Measure A grant funds from the County of San Mateo through its Shuttle Program to operate the South San Francisco East-West Shuttle Project; and, WHEREAS, in August 2015, Kaiser Permanente requested that the City add an additional stop at the SamTrans bus shelter on the northbound side of El Camino Real adjacent to the South San Francisco Kaiser Medical Facility; and, WHEREAS, in recognition of the City providing this additional stop through June 30, 2016, Kaiser will donate $8,900 to the City; and, WHEREAS, the donation from Kaiser Permanente will help to offset the cost of the City's share of South City Shuttle operations. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City of South San Francisco does hereby: 1. Accept a donation from Kaiser Permanente in the amount of$8,900. 2. Amend the FY 2015-16 budget in recognition of the donation from Kaiser Permanente. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 24th day of September, 2015 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Karyl Matsumoto, Pradeep Gupta, and Liza Normandy Vice Mayor Mark N.
