HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 130-2015 RESOLUTION NO. 130-2015 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH TEREX UTILITIES, INC. TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $13,554.48, FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $161,652.48. WHEREAS, vehicle #327 a 1998 Ford F550 Versalift trouble truck was identified by staff as having exceeded it useful service life; and WHEREAS, City of South San Francisco routinely replaces vehicles at the end of their useful service life; and WHEREAS, the purchase of a replacement vehicle was approved as part of the Fiscal Year 2013-2014 Operating Budget; and WHEREAS, in 2014, the City of South San Francisco entered into a Purchase Agreement with Terex Utilities Inc. for a replacement vehicle in an amount not to exceed $148,078; and WHEREAS, the executed Purchase Agreement did not include sales tax in the calculated not to exceed price; and WHEREAS, staff recommends approving an amendment to the Purchase Agreement with Terex Utilities Inc in order to pay the applicable sales tax. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco hereby approves an amendment to the Purchase Agreement with Terex Utilities Inc. for the to pay an additional $13,554.48, for a total amount not to exceed $161,652.48. * * * * * I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 28th day of October 2015 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Karyl Matsumoto, Pradeep Gupta, and Liza Normandy Vice Mayor Mark N.
