Motion to approve the minutes of the March 26, 2003 regular meeting
Motion to confirm expense claims of April 9, 2003 in the amount of $10,853.82
Motion-Garbarino/Second-Green: To approve the Consent Calendar, as submitted.
Unanimously approved by voice vote.
ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS
3. Motion to reject bids for Gateway Child Care Center
Staff report presented by Assistant Agency Director Van Duyn.
Council discussed the bid rejection process, and Director Van Duyn explained that it is
not uncommon for bids to have some omissions, but major gaps were involved this time.
He also informed Council that all bidders were notified of the bids being rejected and that
the prevailing wage policy applies.
Motion-Femekes/Second-Garbarino: To reject bids for Gateway Child Care Center.
Unanimously approved by voice vote.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion-Matsumoto/Second-Green: To adjourn the meeting at 7:06 p.m. Unanimously approved
by voice vote.
