RESOLUTION APPROVING MEASURE W CITIZENS' OVERSIGHT
COMMITTEE MEMORANDUM INDEPENDENTLY CONFIRMING
FISCAL YEAR 2015-2016 MEASURE W REVENUES AND
EXPENDITURES.
WHEREAS,Measure W,a half-cent transactions and use tax,was approved by South San Francisco voters
in November 2015; and
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, in accordance with the Measure W
resolution, appointed members to the Measure W Citizens' Oversight Committee (COC) and adopted
bylaws by the end of 2016; and
WHEREAS pursuant to its committee bylaws, the COC has reviewed and independently confirmed that
Fiscal Year 2015-16 ("FY15-16") Measure W funds collected were spent in accordance with Measure W
terms.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco does
hereby accept the memorandum from the Measure W Citizens' Oversight Committee confirming that
Measure W funds collected in FY15-16 were spent in accordance with Measure W terms.
At a meeting of the City Council on 4/26/2017, a motion was made by Richard Garbarino, seconded by
Liza Normandy, that this Resolution be approved.The motion passed.
