RESOLLrrION NO. 2635
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AWARDING THE SALE OF BONDS
TO THE HIGHEST AND BEST BIDDER.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of SoUth
San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State o£ California, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Resolution of In-
tention No. 2567, adopted by said City Council on the 6th day of
January 1958, and its Resolution No. 2623, adopted on the 21st day
of April 1958, calling for bids in connection with the sale of
improvement bonds to be issued pursuant to said Resolution of In-
tention, published notice of the sale o~ said bonds has been duly
made and given; and
WHEREAS this is the time and place fixed in said Resolu-
tion and notice for receiving bids for the purchase o~ said bonds,
and whereas written bids have been received and have been publicly
opened, examined, and declared by said City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT SHALL BE, AND IT HEREBY IS, ORDERED
AS follows:
1. That all written bids received for the purchase of
said bonds, excepting the bid herein stated, be, and they are hereby,
rejected,and that said bonds be, and they hereby are, ordered sold
to STONE & YOUNGBERG
as the highest responsible bidder therefor, with interest to the date
o~ delivery of said bonds, said sale to be subject to all the terms
and conditions set forth in the aforesaid notice o~ sale of said
bonds.
2. That the City Clerk be, and he hereby is, directed to
have said bonds printed forthwith; that thereafter said bonds be signed
and sealed in the manner heretofore specified by this City
Council; and that immediately following, said bonds be delivered
to said bidder upon receipt of the full amount of the bid
therefor, together with interest, as hereinabove indicated, and
upon the complete performance of all the conditions specified in
said call for bids and contained in said written offer, but not
otherwise.
3. That the interest rate of said bonds be, and the
same hereby is, £ixed at the rate, or rates, stated in said bid.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
held on the 5th day of Nay 1958, by the following vote:
