None. (Cassette Tape No. 1) Boardmembers Fernekes* and Garbarino, Vice Chair Green and Chair Matsumoto None. Boardmember Gonzalez (corrected at meeting of May 26, 2004) *Councilman Femekes arrived at 7:06 p.m. 1. Motion to approve the minutes of April 28, 2004 2. Motion to confirm expense claims of May 12, 2004 in the amount of $1,008,234.19 o Resolution No. 07-2004, accepting the preliminary plan and project area for the amendment adding area to the Downtown/Central Redevelopment Project Area; directing preparation of the redevelopment plan amendment and fiscal merger for the Downtown/Central, Gateway and U.S. Steel/Shearwater Redevelopment Plans; and authorizing transmittal of required information to taxing entities and officials Motion-Garbarino/Second-Green: To approve the Consent Calendar as presented. Approved by voice vote. Absent: Councilmembers Femekes and Gonzalez. ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS Review of Peninsula Habitat for Humanity's housing project proposal at 440 Commercial Avenue Staff report presented by Housing and Redevelopment Manager Fragoso. Mr. David Crabbe, architect, reviewed the design elements of the project and Mr. Ed Hayes, Program Director, explained Habitat's home loan program. Chair Matsumoto questioned the community outreach and requested that community concerns regarding the loss of the green space be addressed by staff at the community meeting. CLOSED SESSION o Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8 real property negotiations related to 820 Tennis Drive and 178-190 Airport Boulevard; Agency Negotiator: Redevelopment Agency Assistant Director Van Duyn Time entered into Closed Session: Time reconvened into Open Session: Report from Closed Session: 7:15 p.m. 7:26 p.m., Boardmembers Fernekes, Garbarino, Green and Matsumoto present Direction given/no action taken ADJOURNMENT Being no further business, Chair Matsumoto adjourned the meeting at 7:26 p.m. Submitted by: SylvJa M.
