RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DATABASE MAINTENANCE FEE
AND AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2017 -18 MASTER FEE
SCHEDULE.
WHEREAS, the City's Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 -18 Master Fee Schedule was adopted in June 2017,
reflecting a comprehensive effort to update the City's user fees; and
WHEREAS, the City further amended the FY 2017 -18 Master Fee Schedule in August 2017; and
WHEREAS, the Database Maintenance Fee is compliant with Propositions 218 and 26, as it mitigates,
but does not exceed the cost of the Business License system software and hardware costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco does
hereby approve the Database Maintenance Fee of $15 annually per business located in South San
Francisco.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco hereby amends
the FY 2017 -18 Master Fee Schedule.
At a meeting of the Special City Council on 11/20/2017, a motion was made by Liza Normandy, seconded by
Richard Garbarino, that this Resolution be adopted. The motion passed.
