RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENT NO. 18.033,
TRANSFERRING BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS FROM THE
GENERAL FUND TO THE OYSTER POINT DEVELOPMENT
FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $80,500.
WHEREAS, as part of the Development and Disposition Agreement with Oyster Point Ventures, the City
of South San Francisco conveyed City -owned property to the developer, now Kilroy Realty; and
WHEREAS, in order to effectuate the land conveyance process, which has been completed, a parcel map
was prepared, and a lot line adjustment was completed; and
WHEREAS, the cost to provide the services related to the parcel map and lot line adjustment are the
responsibility of City and developer, with the City's share of the cost being $80,500 to date; and
WHEREAS, the funding request would pay back the developer for upfront payments already made to
their consultants and outstanding invoices to the City from CSG Consultants for their technical work and
Meyers Nave for legal support to date; and
WHEREAS, the City's General Fund has sufficient budget savings that can be transferred to the Oyster
Point Development Fund, where payment for the associated invoices will be recorded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco does
hereby approve Budget Amendment No. 18.033.
At a meeting of the City Council on 6/27/2018, a motion was made by Mark Addiego, seconded by Pradeep
Gupta, that this Resolution be approved. The motion passed.
