RE SOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF $5,000
IN SPONSORSHIPS FOR THE SENIOR. HEALTH AND
FITNESS FAIR ON FRIDAY, MARCH 8, 2019 AT THE
MUNICIPAL SERVICES BUILDING.
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco ("City") Parks and Recreation Department hosted the
twenty-second annual Senior Health and Fitness Fair on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Municipal Services
Building; and
WHEREAS, the City has received a four thousand dollar ($4,000) sponsorship from Kaiser Permanente
for the Senior Health and Fitness Fair; and
WHEREAS, the City has received a five hundred dollar ($500) sponsorship from Garden Chapel Funeral
Directors for the Senior Health and Fitness Fair; and
WHEREAS, the City has received a five hundred dollar ($500) sponsorship :from Westborough. Royale
f-br the Senior Health and Fitness Fair; and
WHEREAS, the sum of these sponsorships amount to five thousand dollars ($5,000); and
WHEREAS, receipt of these lunds will offiset some of the event costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
hereby accepts $5,000 in sponsorship for the Senior Health and Fitness Fair.
At a meeting of the City Council on 3/13/2019, a motion was made by Richard Garbarino, seconded by
Buenaflor Nicolas, that this Resolution be approved. The motion passed.
