REQUIRING DRIVERS 0~ AL~ ~HICLES T0 STOP
SUCH ~HICLES AT ~TAIN STREET INTERSECTIONS
IN T~ CITY 0~ S0~H S~ ~R~OISO0.
The Board ~ Trustees of the City of South San ~rancisco do
ordain as follows:
Section 1. The driver or operator of any vehicle shall stop
snch vehicle i~ediately before entering upon Grand Avenue from each
of the following named streets and avenues:
Division Street, Cypress Avenue, ~!aple Avenue, '~-~alnut Avenue,
Spruce Avenue, Magnolia Avenue, Locust Avenue, 0raDge. Avenue, Acacia
Avenue, Eucal~tus Avenue, Laurel Avenue and Chestnut Avenue.
Section 2. The driver or operator of a~ vehicle shall stop
such vehicle~ immediately before entering upon San Bruno Road from ~ch
of the following ~med streets and avenues:
Randolph Avenue, Gardener Avenue, Butler Road, Chapman Avenue,
Armour Avenue, Pine Avenue, California Avenue, L~ Avenus, 2~liller Avenue
and Grand Avenue.
Section 3. The driver or operator of any vehicle shall stop
such vehicle i~ediately before entering upon Linden Avenue from each
of the following ~med streets and avenues:
Railroad Avenue, Co~ercial Avenue, ~den Avenue, Grand Ave-
nue, Miller Avenue, L~ Avenue, California Avenue, Pine Avenue, Aspen
Avenue, Juniper Avenue and ~mour Avenue.
Section 4. The driver or operator o~ a~ vehicle s~ll stop
such vehicle iEediately before entering upon Baden Avenue from Mag-
nolia Avenue.
Section ~. It shall be ~lawful ~or the driver or operator
o~ any such vehicle to ~ail to stop at each place where, by this ordin-
ance, vehicles are required to be stopped.
Section 6. Every person who violates any of the provisio~
of t~is ordinance shall be ~ilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction
thereof shall be punished by a fine not eXceeding Fifty Dollars ($~0.00)
or by impriso~.ent ~or a period of not more than thirty (30) days, or
by both such fine and impriso~ent.
Section 7. This ordinance shall be published once in
"The South' San Francisco Journal", a weekly newspaper published and
circulated in said City of South Sawn Francisco, and shall take effect
and be in force from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days
aster the date of passage.
