'..? WHEREAS the Uniform Building Code 19£? Edition, has Seen printed as a code in book form and is known as the "Uniform Building Code 19£7 Edition, adopted by the Pacific Coast Building Officials' Conference at the 6th Annual Meeting October, 19£7"; NOW, THERF~0RE, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco do ordain as follows: Section 1. That certain building code known and designat- ed as "Uniform Building Code 1987 Edition, adopted by the Pacific Coast Building Officials' Conference at the 6th Annual 5ieeting October, 1927", is hereby adopted for the purpose of regular, lng the construction of buildings within said City of South San Francisco, three (3) copies of said Uniform Building Code having been filed for use and examination by the public, in the office of the Clerk of the said City of South San ~rancisoo. Se~tion 2. Every person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this ordinance or of said Uniform Building Code shall be demmed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon con- vietion thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) or ~y imprisonment for a period not exceed- ing Three .(3) months, or ~y both such fine and imprisonment. This ordinance shall be published once in "The Enterprise and The South San Francisco Journal", a weekly r~ws- paper of general circulation printed and published in said City of South San Franciseo and shall take effect and be in fc~ce from and after the expiration of ~hirty (30) days after its adoption. -,-,-,-,-,-,-,-,-,-,- Introduced this 4th day of September, 19£8.
