The O~y Council of ~he Oily of Sou~h ~an ~rancisco ~o or~a~
as follows:
Section 1. The office of deputy ~reasurer is h~eby crea~ed.
~ection E. In ~he absence of said treasurer ~rom said city,
or in the event of ~he inability of ~he ~rea~rer to perform his duties
for any reason, ~he deputy treasurer shall perform the duties required
by law of ~he ~reasurer of said Oily of Sou~h San ~rancisco.
Section ~. The deputy ~reasurer shall receive no compen-
sation for his services.
Section ~. This ordinance shall be published once in "The
Enterprise and The South San Francisco Journal", a weekly newspaper,
printed and published in said City of South San Francisco and shall
take effect and be in force from and after the expiration oi' thirty
(~0) days from the date of its adoption.
