9. HR Activities Update: No Action.

B. HCM Systems Update
Leah Lockhart reported that,
starting this week, the LEAP
Committee will accept applications
for 25 seats in the Leadership
Academy. The Academy will run
from March 12 to June 10
(rescheduled from June 4).
Mich Mercado reported that online
time entry is now available across
the City. Enhancements to self-
service will continue to be rolled
out. Online PAFs will follow.

A. Recruitment Diversity Chair Luster noted the diversity of
the employees recognized today,
cited her involvement in Black
History month to celebrate diversity
as an example of outreach, and
asked for ideas to reach a more
diverse population.
Vice Chair Avelar expressed the
importance of reaching children in
from the 8th grade through high
school to introduce them to the
trades available in the public sector,
as not all desire to go on to
colleges.
